EXPERIENCE
Pain consultant
Acute and chronic pain management both are essential elements of patients’ medical care. As pain consultant, I handle pain conditions both on the acute and chronic settings. Acute pain service (mainly post-operative) has proved to favorably affect patient recovery.
I am also experienced in fluoroscopic guided interventions for many and wide range of chronic pain conditions malignant or non- malignant.
I can offer solutions for many medical conditions, for example: chronic low back pain and chronic neck pain that are not relieved by trials of routine non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) and physiotherapy; failed back syndromes with no evidence of arachnoiditis or recurrent disc disease; persistent low back pain; and post-whiplash injury; Raynaud`s disease; complex regional pain syndrome CRPS; post herpetic neuralgia.
I perform image guided sympathetic block, celiac plexus block for cancer pain, hypogastria block, radiofrequency rhizotomy and pulsed radio frequency for different pain syndromes.
Epidural injection for temporarily relief of pain is basic pain management skill.
Anesthesia Consultant
I am responsible for 20-25 patients a day in a 400-bed hospital. Spend one day each week in Electricity Hospital as attending chronic pain management consultant. Attending Anesthetist
Staffed the Anesthesia department and tended to Emergency department, surgical wards, and perioperative anesthesia management.
Participate in undergraduates and post graduates teaching.
